The Swedish Club is pleased to offer an exciting opportunity within our Reinsurance team. We work with reinsurers and reinsurance brokers worldwide, with most of our business placed through brokers in the international reinsurance market. This is a dynamic role with excellent opportunities for professional growth and development.
As a reinsurance coordinator, you will be involved in all aspects of reinsurance:
Servicing of reinsurance accounts and claims for the given portfolio, quarterly
Reviewing reinsurance slips, cover notes and contract wordings
Prepare statistics for renewal of reinsurance contracts
Establish and maintain strong relationships with reinsurers, brokers, clients and colleagues
Manage claims statistics and claims reporting.
Handling reinsurance pool claims and statistics quarterly for The International Group
We are looking for a team player with good analytical skills that likes to work in an international setting. You need to be systematic and accurate with good social and interpersonal skills in interacting with reinsurers, reinsurance brokers, members and colleagues. An eye for detail and a good understanding of numbers are required for this position, and so is a good command of Excel. We look for a structured, meticulous, and motivated candidate. At the same time, you are curious and brave to embrace change when we work together across different functions and perform various tasks.
A genuine passion for Reinsurance and Marine insurance is highly valued. We expect you to have 2-5 years of insurance and reinsurance experience. Being fluent in English, verbal as well as written, is essential, as you will communicate with reinsurance brokers, reinsurers and colleagues in many countries.
You will join a diverse, committed and caring team with a passion for what we do. We offer a stimulating work environment, global exposure, and the opportunity to develop your skills in a respected international organisation.
