To succeed in the role, you combine strong legal expertise with sound judgement, professionalism and integrity. You are comfortable building trusted relationships with stakeholders across different functions and levels of the organisation.
Qualifications
We believe you have:
A Master of Laws (LL.M.) or equivalent legal degree
At least 10 years of relevant legal experience, gained from a law firm, an in-house legal function, or ideally, a combination of both
Experience in corporate law and corporate governance
Experience with regulatory compliance, preferably within insurance, financial services or another regulated industry
Experience reviewing, drafting and advising on commercial contracts
Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in an international organisation
Full professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken
Hands-on experience or a curiosity to explore how AI can be applied in a legal context would be welcomed
Above all, we are looking for someone who is proactive, collaborative and pragmatic, with the ability to combine legal expertise with a willingness to understand more about our business.
Our offer
At The Swedish Club, you will take on a key legal role in an international organisation, working alongside highly skilled colleagues with specialist expertise.
You will have the opportunity to work with complex and intellectually stimulating legal and regulatory matters in an industry shaped by global developments. The role offers both significant responsibility and opportunities to continue developing your expertise as a senior legal professional.
