Claims Executive, P&I and FD&D
We are looking for a committed and service-minded Claims Executive to join our international team. In this role, you will handle a broad range of P&I (Protection & Indemnity) and FD&D (Freight, Demurrage & Defence) matters, supporting our members with professional, timely, and practical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and advise on claims relating to P&I and FD&D, from initial notification to settlement.
• Provide clear legal and commercial advice to members and business partners.
• Liaise with shipowners, charterers, brokers, lawyers, and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate with colleagues and correspondents worldwide to ensure efficient claims handling.
• Contribute to loss prevention activities and knowledge sharing within the Club.
Your Profile
• A law degree or relevant maritime/legal background.
• Previous experience in shipping, insurance, or law is an advantage but not essential.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• A proactive, service-oriented mindset and the ability to work both independently and in a team.

Place of Work and Employment Period
The position is based at our office in Hong Kong. Employment is permanent and starts as soon as possible.
